| Posted: | | | | How do you set up a friend to view my online collection? They are registered and added to my friends list already. The only way it seems to work is by setting my profile to public and using the web address to go to that page. If this is the only way what is the point of registering and being added as a friend when you could simply just go to the web page. Am I setting up something wrong???????? |

| Posted: | | | | No, I don't think you're setting anything up wrong. However, different people have different settings for their collections - and so there are different settings you can give to your friends. If you go to My Profiler -> User Settings -> Online Collection (tab on the left), you will see that you can set your online collection not to show certain sections. Then, if you go to My Profiler -> Friends, you will see that you can set your friend's account to view what you want him to see. So, if you upload your collection and check "Public" but then uncheck the boxes under "Show In Public Listing" but give your friend access to all of those options, it will likely show up that he will see your collection, but the general public will not. At least, that's how I think it works. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

| Posted: | | | | There still appears to be a problem here .. If I click on your site it opens with nothing there .. But if I click on one of your columns it opens .. The site should open on the first click not on two .... Perhaps some oen else can jump in here.. and explain ..?? | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | Your right....... So whats the sense of adding someone as a friend so they are the only ones who can view my collection. When anyone can bring up the page click on a column and see my collection. I think there is a problem with online sharing with friends only. |

| Posted: | | | | If you have your collection set to private, and then enable your friend to view everything, do they have access at that point? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | I would think he should access it from the same page as normal. By logging in and then going to your collection.
I would think that's how it should work, anyway. I'll see if I can chant up Ken and maybe he can enlighten us further.
