| Posted: | | | | I sued this for a while: http://code.google.com/p/open-media-library/
but haven't really bothered lately (I used the .3 beta version, which worked quite well even with a mix between DVDs and online media). I have no idea how well the .4 version works. | | | Regards Lars |

You can also use the media Center plugin called Media Browser. It will fetch metadata from the net and gives a better interface for movies than plain MCE. It also gives you the option to use an external player application like Media Player Classic - Home Cinema which gives better result than the builtin player. |

I have raised similar queries previously in relation to MCE. Here are 2 links for threads I have subscribed too. Some of it went above my head, some didn't work, and one thread went off-topic, so I reverted back to what I did in the first place. That was exporting the data in an xml file and then import into Movie Collectorz and accessed the data via their MCE plug-in. Would prefer to dump Collectorz altogether and just use DVDProfiler, but time, expertise and patience are limited and haven't been able to get back to it again. 1st thread: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=195762 2nd thread: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=379306 Take note of the posts from mediadogg. They were the most helpful. Good luck. PM me if you wish. | | | Veni, Vidi, Visa, Vista, Voodoo, Vino I came, I saw, I bought, I installed Vista, I'm now haunted, I need wine

| Posted: | | | | Here is another approach posted in yet another thread on the topic. Basically it creates a button on the MCE screen that will run your DVDP Online web page within the MCE web browser. Somebody in that thread made a snap judgement that it was launching DVDP on the local PC, but that is/was not correct, and unfortunately he hasn't come back to edit or remove that misleading post. | | | Thanks for your support.
