| Posted: | | | | Yesterday, I received a couple errors while editing a profile. The error let me send a notice to Invelos, but keep working. After each error, I'd close, run database repair and go on. The last one that happened occured as I was trying to contribute a profile. It wouldn't let me and closed down the database. I ran database repair, it fixed a lot of BLOB errors. However, when I tried to restart the program, I got the flash screen and then a message about starting either the regular program or the default mode. Yet, no matter which option I choose, the program won't load. The pop up menu disappears, but I don't get the opening page. The program just hangs. I can see it in program manager, under processes, but never in my task menu. I've waited up to 15 minutes waiting for the program to load.
I've ran the database repair about 5 or 6 times now, restarted the computer at least twice, then running the repair before starting with the same problem. The only thing I haven't done is delete the whole program and start over. While I am backed up until yesterday morning, I did about 4 or 5 hours work I'd rather not lose.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
