| Posted: | | | | I did a search in the forums so forgive me if this was answered before.
I installed a new hard drive and in doing so lost my database. I have Profiler Mobile so I synchronized from my PPC and got my movies back. Well, almost all of them. I found one or two that were somehow removed, but more troubling is almost all of the collection lost their cover art.
I would have thought that refreshing profiles would have restored them, but alas, I am still without my pics.
Any clue how to get my art back without reentering everyone of my DVD's?
Thanks in advance, GREAT program! It's the only reason I haven't upgraded to an IPhone. |

| Posted: | | | | How about refreshing the pics from online? (Menu: Online -> Update all pics) This will bring up all pics from the online database. But your custom scans are gone. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | First of all: welcome to the Asylum! I can't help noticing that next to the user name in your post, only the icon for your Mobile registration shows. The icon for your regular DVDP registration is missing. You are sure you have your registrations on one and the same user name? On your DVDP Mobile account, the online collection is empty. Is this because you never uploaded it, or was it uploaded from a different account? For the scans, you can indeed try VirusPil's suggestion. Try Online / Refresh All Images in DVDP's main programme. |

If it's still working and you didn't erase it yet, you might want to try to connect it to your PC via USB (empty external HDD case required). Copy the data contained in user folder (XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\My Documents; Vista/Win7: C:\Users\<your username>\Documents), from here navigate to DVDProfiler\Databases\Default\Images. Copy the content of this folder to the matching directory of your new HDD and you have your pictures back. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

But your custom scans are gone. Well, that's a "duh" moment if I ever saw one. Didn't know that button was there, but it worked like a charm. I knew there was an easy fix I was overlooking, As for those wondering about my registration.... since adding the new drive haven't had a chance to send my numbers again. I'll make sure to do that again. Thanks all. |
