| Posted: | | | | Bit of an odd problem here. When I first created my DVD collection (back in the day), I added box set contents individually. I don't know whether child profiles were in use at the time, but in any case, that's the way I did it, and it seemed to work out pretty well.
Fast-forward to today. I finally upgraded to the latest version, and suddenly all box set profiles are empty. They show up in the collection as thumbnails, but when clicked on, they don't register, instead displaying whatever title was previously selected. As a result, there's no way to read, edit, or delete them. They just kind of take up space.
This wouldn't be too much of a problem, except that it seems to break the Movie Pick tool (once it hits an empty profile, it just sits there). If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them, because, quite frankly, I'm at a loss.
EDIT: Apparently, it's not just box sets, but also profiles that I manually created (I've got some pretty obscure foreign films). The plot thickens ... | | | Last edited: by Mut |

| Posted: | | | | Did you try a database repair already?? (DVDProfiler menu: Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair database) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | When debugging the upgrade to BulkEdit in progress, I hit a similar problem. Ken reminded me about "Count As". If DB Repair doesn't fix it (it probably will), you might try DB Query to search for profiles with Count As set to less than 1. Just a shot in the dark ... Only other thing I can think of is that maybe the Collection Category got trashed, so the profiles don't appear anywhere (????). | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
