mediadog refers to Profile crawler to be used in conjunction with bulk/edit, but I can not find it anywhere.

(Edit: Forgot to mention: In BulkEdit,  File->Run Profile Crawler)
Right. It is just a brute force way of discovering some things that I can't get easily otherwise. For example, the list of Retailers and users in the database. You can force a "crawl" at any time to give me head start, then I incrementally grab any changes whenever a DVD is selected or edited, or during any import process. This allows me to populate drop down lists correctly in the BukEdit spreadsheet.

I have standing requests in the Developer's Forum for API functions to eliminate the need for this. Got some help in 3.6.1. Maybe someday, we'll get the rest.

Is there a need for some kind of separate plugin? If so, take a look at DVDProfileLoop. It will cycle through a set of profiles and sequentially call your program, passing selected data fields as parameters. It calls your program once in the beginning for setup, does the loop, then once more at the end for cleanup. There are some sample scripts provided to do things like create a set of HTML pages for a simple DVD listing usable on any type of phone. DVDProfileLoop has not yet been upgraded to support the new 3.6.1 fields.
Thanks for your support.
