Some countries, the UK included sometimes have the ratings advice laid out in a table format -

Example

At the moment, some people use colons, semicolons, fullstops, etc... to separate the various sections/changes between the headings & info. In other words, there's no standard.

What I'd like to see is the ability to select a table instead of the default single line field for those cases.

I'm not suggesting replacing the existing option, but give this as a selectable alternative when the info is laid out in that fashion.

I was going to suggest the headings could be a predefined entries selectable from a drop down list but now think that having them as free text as well would be better so if any unusual/new headings appear then they can still be entered exactly as shown.

Thoughts?

I think that this matter should be resolved in Contribution Rules Committee forum and just figure out a rule how to insert these. No reason to program changes. Personally I like

Language: Infrequent, Moderate; Sex/Nudity: Infrequent, Moderate; Violence: Frequent, Some Strong; Other: One Drug Reference

format.

I had considered a rule addition but felt that a program change would be better. This was for the simple reason that this way we won't get a 10 page thread of whether or not a semicolon is better than fullstop!

With the suggested change, we simply enter the data exactly as shown
