| Posted: | | | | Only Ken knows how far along the iPhone version is. There is an alternative available in the meantime. You can find a thread here. |

| Posted: | | | | Because he is going to have to deal with any of the changes/functionality of the new OS (from my limited understanding of iPhone apps, there were occasional apps that didn't work properly under 3.0 from the previous build). He might be waiting until 4.0 is released this summer before putting the product out there. But this is just my guess. I hope it comes out much sooner. |

| Posted: | | | | I would have thought it would be a mistake to wait until 4.0, especially as I don't believe the new OS will work on all the Iphones (only the 3GS) and only on the last touch (dec last year). So he would need something that can run on existing iphones/touches anyway.
Also, would he really want to leave the market to everybody else to put versions into place now and get market share when there isn't even a fixed release date for 4 - I've seen dates indicating this is due for Nov 2010? | | | Paul |

OS4 will work on lesser phones (the 3G for sure). It just won't have all the new features enabled (like the multi-tasking). | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | Of course the development might have hit a rock now that Apple have changed which tools developers can use for iPhone apps. SourceSourceHopefully not but only Ken will know. |

| Posted: | | | | No rock. The iPhone/iPad version is being developed in native Objective C, with current OS as the target - it will function on the initial iPhone, which OS 4 will not run on.
Future versions may target OS4/5/etc, and so will not necessarily run on the earliest devices, but 1.0 will. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Looking forward to the iPhone version too. Native objective C, which I guess Apple is making a requirement, is still kind of a pain though, I guess. I've been studying it, and the syntax is quite odd at times. Good luck to you, Ken. Hope it's going well. |
