| Posted: | | | | With the new version, you can have custom categories. Right now, I'm keeping track of movies I've watched, but don't own in a separate database and would like to move it into my main one. Not seeing a simple way of doing this and did try a google search, but nothing popped up with my search terms. I have created the custom category, though, now just need to fill it.
Help, please! Thanks! | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | Okay, moved my main collection into a blank one so they're not mixed. But when restoring profiles, the only options I get are the ones in the main database, not the one I'm trying to open.
This is what I'm doing:
Restore database Changing the specific location to the database I want to bring in/import. Next button At this point, the profiles are still all the original ones, not the ones I want to import.
I haven't gone further because it seems like I'm not doing something right...I can click restore specific profiles, but none of the profiles are from the other database. | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | You'll need to back up the collection you want to import FROM to a specific file. Then, open the database you want to import TO and select restore. Select the backup file you just created. Then, select to restore specific profiles. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Maybe I'm tired, but this seems like what I'm already doing.
I have database A that I want to add database B to. I have B backed up. I go into database A and click on restore. I'm selecting database B to restore but the profiles from B are not appearing to restore. | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | Found out what I was doing wrong. I was doing the process right, but hadn't converted the second database to the new Profiler yet so it wasn't recognizing it somehow. Once I converted the profiles to 3.6, went back and did the restore it worked fine.
Thanks for the help. | | | Lori |
