| Posted: | | | | I upgraded to the RTM of DVD Profiler 3.6 and now I am not able to upload collection chances to my DVD Profiler Online profile. I can login successfully but during the upload the error message "The online system is currently unavailable or an error occured. Please try again later" appears. A second attempt a few hours later also does nothing. I am the only one with the problem or is this a widespread problem? |

| Posted: | | | | Please check your firewall settings and logs for blocked programs (esp. dvdpro.exe) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | It's not a firewall problem. I analyzed the traffic of DVD Profiler with Fiddler (HTTP Debugging Tool) and the communication between the Profiler and the Server works:
The protocol is as follows: Sign In-page: Client sends Username to Server and Server returns a GUID (I guess a ticket of some sorts); Client then sends the ticket, registration key and some other information (password) to the Server and retrieves collection from online DB Collection transfer page: Nothing happens protocol-wise Uploading Collection: Client sends the database (it's ~212 kB big, so I guess it's the database) to the Server and gets a small answer. HTTP code of this answer is 200, which means that the connection was successful. However, I still get an error on the client side.
From my perspective, the connection between client and server works, but there seems to be a problem with the content of the transmitted data. |
