I did an upgrade today, but first uninstalled all previous versions of profiler (inc beta). Installed new version and populated database via a DPO download instead of a backup.
All features work, but the interface is *really* laggy. Can take 2-3 seconds from me clicking a menu bar item for the menu list to show up...
This computer was previously running earlier beta builds fine.
Any help would be appreciated. |

In my case I have the feeling 3.6 got faster. |

| Posted: | | | | I noticed right away there was a lot of lag after the update. It takes a second or two longer just to switch between movie profiles. It's REALLY annoying. Hope they fix it. | | | http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/sideffx |

At present, there are no identified errors in 3.6 that can cause these issues. |

Hope they fix it. FWIW I'm not realy complainingas yet because I have had lots of other things to sort today but 3.6 is supposed to be faster (it's been stated as so for start up at least) and for me is much slower, 6-10 seconds on startup checking the online link (I believe that's the first thing in the eye colour clycle) and lots of time generally when moving between sections and searches | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | I AM pleased with all the new features, and I'm not that worried about an extra second or two. But I use this program a few times a day and I feel I'm pretty familiar with it. The update for dvd profiler is the only thing I've installed in a couple weeks. I immediately noticed a difference in the performance. ( Just a little lag that can be annoying. I do have over 1,040 Dvds so I wonder if it's the number of movies it's displaying? I don't know how software works...... I just can't be the only one who is experiencing this. But again I Love all the new stuff so it just might be worth it..... | | | http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/sideffx |

| Posted: | | | | Thank goodness, I thought it was only me. I, too, feel that the new version is a little slower in general use. Although it does seem somewhat faster in starting up, which is great. I haven't rebooted my laptop for a while, so I'll wait until I do that before I get too concerned.
