I got my hands on this today. The outer slip cover says Special Edition 3-Disc but the HD Keep Case cover says 2-Disc SE.  Also, the UPC for this one is the same as the 2-Disc BD.  So anyone getting this edition of 2012 BD will have to keep the title and artwork local.  It's actually 4 discs (2-Disc BD, Digital Copy and the BD docu) if you count the Discovery Channel documentary Bonus Disc (but that can be contributed separately and check-boxed as part of this 2012 BD box set).  Or it can be contributed just by itself as a separate title, correct?
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Yes, the bonus disc can be contributed as a separate title, just like the bonus discs from Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

Husker:

As it turns out the Two-Disc set is Three Discs BUT Sony did not count the Digital Copy Disc as a Disc apparently. They only counted the Feature Duisc and the Special Features.

Has the Discovery 2012 BluRay disc been added to the database yet?
As I can not find it?

And since the same UPC Code/Number was used as the standard retail two disc will there be an option such as if it was ''French Canadian'' for example to allow for choosing the Target Special Packaging??

I can't speak to a Canadian BUT the US BD 2-Disc SE is available under 043396292215, whether it's complete or not I don't know, my Profile is complete along with my 800DPI Cover Scans, and as always if anyone wants my file Cover Scans instead of the Invelos downsize, all it takes is a PM request and i will happily forward them.

I was just using the Canadian disc's as an example where they use the same UPC but might have different packaging, cover, or even content on the disc when you would input the UPC DVDProfiler would give you a choice of which version you had.

My scanners are good for what I use them for .. but 99% of my image uploads get rejected... So I stopped trying to add them to the data base.

If everyone can wait, I could profile that for the database perhaps tonight or tomorrow.

i didnt see it at my local target. i could have missed it because i was upset they were sold out of the Where the wild things are blu-ray/dvd combo. I had to go to walmart where they price matched for $19.99. anyway i just bought the standard single disc dvd and i must say im glad i did! i HATED this movie! The only positive for me was the Adam Lambert music video in the special features.(i'm a big fan). For me there are much better disaster movies!

I just finished profiling the Discover Channel 2012 Bonus Disc.  It should be in the database by Tuesday at the latest (I hope).

I have to say, when I picked up this Target Exclusive, I thought of Heathen and wondered if he was buying it too.

I just received my Target Edition in the mail and it has a upc (0 43396 35110 3) sticker on the keepcase which is different from the upc that is under it. Did anybody else have this upc sticker on it?? The sticker is on the keepcase and it's visible thru the cutout in the slipcover.

No sticker on my store purchased copy on day of release.. You might want to submit the UPC as an alternate UPC  ..I know of at least twice where Target has ''Special Release'' sets where the store was to place new UPC/BarCode labels on stock to keep the "Special Release" from ringing up at the "General Release" price.  I know that on first sale date my local Target store was selling the "Star Trek (2009) Movie - Enterprise" package for less than the standard packaging due to UPC mix-up.. I noticed later in the week the store had placed new larger stickers on the packaging.
