| Posted: | | | | I think there should be something, just a short note, about what is in current development on the front welcome page of the website. It would give first time visitors an idea of what is happening right now. The "Latest News" section is a good idea. But, to a first time visitor to the website, it can look like nothing is happening. There is no news about the current beta. There should be. What do you think? | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |

| Posted: | | | | I agree. Last month I sang the praises of DVD Profiler in another forum, only to have a few posters question whether it was an abandoned software since the last update was in the summer, and the one before that a year ago.
I realize if there's no new developments news can't just be invented (although the beta not being on there is certainly a missed opportunity) but I can't help but feel that Ken might be better served by small quarterly updates to the program as opposed to one major one, once a year.
Not only would it give the front page the appearance of relatively recent developments, but it would probably also make for an energized user base if there'd be new updates that often.

For example something like:

| Posted: | | | | Personally, I wouldn't think the software was dead unless 2 or more years passed without any updates.
The statistics however, that's a smokin' hot idea! A total profile count could be a selling point too. |
