| Posted: | | | | According to the documentation only DVDs added to your owned list are assigned collection numbers. But I am seeing a lot of DVDs in the wish list that also have been assigned a collection number. Not all DVDs in the wish list have a collection number, just some. I have even tried deleting all the DVS in the wish list with collection numbers and that is fine until the next time I use the reassign numbers tool. After reassigning i find more DVDs in the wish list with assigned numbers.
I also find that some numbers are just skipped. For example I have number 120, 121, 123 and 124, but there is not DVD with 122 assigned to it. That is the main reason I was using the collection number reassigning, was to close the gaps on missing numbers. And because what I really want is my owned titles to be numbered in alphabetical order rather than buy release or purchase date. |

| Posted: | | | | Is it possible that you have moved the items from your owned list to you wishlist? If so then they got their number there. Move them back, remove the number and then move them back back. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | do you have box sets? perhaps what you are seeing is
if so it would label them like:
box - collection #1 child - collection #2 child - collection #3
if your box sets aren't expanded you would not see 2 and 3 so it would appear to have skipped them.
also, how are you determining that the wishlist titles have a collection number. I think there is a way to put collection numbers on wishlist titles (like DJ Doena said) though once they are in the wishlist and you bring up the personalize screen you won't be able to see it.
