| Posted: | | | | Hello! I purchased the DVD Profiler yesterday and I have a doubt about the item "Charts Graphs". I insert a Box dvd, where there are 3 movies. Thus the DVD Profiler creates a new item: the Box, and from this by clicking on the icon "+" appear in the films of the Box By selecting the "Charts Graphs" and "Media Type", it shows that I have 4 DVDs and in fact I have 3 movies. The software has the Box as a movie, and is a little strange to see the statistics with 4 movies, and are in fact 3. Is there an option where you can say that the Box is not a movie?
Another thing, can I create more options for "Case Type"?
Thank you for your attention!

| Posted: | | | | First question: Not with 3.5 but 3.6 (currently in Beta) you can define as how many movies a profile counts. I assume (not sure though) it will effect the results of the charts as well.
Second question: No, sorry. There's a option called "Custom" though. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

This new feature in version 3.6 looks interesting! I think this will solve my "problem". I will wait for final version.
About the "Case Types", is the suggestion that it is possible to insert new cases. For today appear more and more different types of cases!
Thanks again for your help!

To work around this issue, I've created a Tag call Boxed Set or something like that. I mark the box set profile with that tag. Then when I'm doing something where I don't want the profiles for the boxes included, I filter out any profiles with a Box Set tag. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | so when is 3.6 getting released? One thing Id love to see added is a work with IMDB program also For say the Dirty Harry set I have the set as 0.00 and the 5 movies at like 6 bucks each (payed 30 for the set)... how does this affect my movie graphs in terms of pricing? Does it take the 0.00 into account? sHould I make them all $5 instead? |

| Posted: | | | | We don't use IMDb, you can go to IMDb from within the Program but that's it. We use only the actual film credits in the program, for legal reasons, practical reasons (if IMDb was so good, accurate so forth, then there is no need for a profiler just to clone IMDb) and accuracy reasons. Simplty put IMDb is anything BUT accurate.

You can customize your own HTML windows. See the Layouts forum. Here's one version of an IMDb window. | | | ...James
