In next version DVD To profile, it would be interesting to make a column “DVD Prétés” for example. I want to say that when one lends a dvd to somebody, one selects “ready with” then so-and-so but the dvd remains in the list of the had dvd. For an easier management, it would be although at the time of the loan of a dvd, this one left the list “dvd had” and thus rocks in a lent column “dvd” one sees continuation the dvd which left. And the DVD will take again its initial place in “dvd had” at the time of the return of this one. One can even make flicker the mitre “dvd lent” in red with a one second old siren to the starting of the program in the event of y and late return to associate why not the opening of a window of warning saying that such film still did not return… of course any skeletal Ca as one wishes it in the options. Is that possible to make???

Well, this seems an automatic translation which is not clear, at least for me.

This is how I would translate what is in French of the other topic of the same user:

For the next version of dvdprofiler, it would be interesting to have an automatic collection “Loaned DVD” . When we loan a dvd to somebody, we  select “loaned to”  but the dvd remains in the list of the owned dvd. For an easier management, it would be cool that when we loan a dvd, it leaves the list “owned DVDs” and goes automatically  in the "loaned DVD" collection, so that it is easy to see all DVDs that are loaned. And the DVD will take again its initial place in “owned DVDs” when returned. A red alert and even a sound could signal loaned DVDs that are not returned on time, when opening the program. All this could be set in the options.

Is this possible to do ?

Thanks for the explanation Surfeur
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I agree.

Me too.

As to the request, I wouldn't use it, but wouldn't vote against it.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
