Maybe a corruption in one of the DLL's, or something with the registry keys.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling DVDPro?

Maybe a CHKDSK in safemode may do the trick as well .

A short Google-search of the error message showed that the error might be related to either "Silverlight" or the "Net. Framework". Try to reinstall them (or "it", if you don't have "Silverlight" (unneeded!) running)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I found the .NET articles as well, but I don't think DVDPro is using .NET, or am I wrong about this?

Some of the plug-ins might use it.

The way I read it, this particular corruption of the NET.Framework might even effect completely unrelated programs.
Anyhow if it is this an update to 3.5 should do the trick
.NET Framework 3.5 SP 1
