| Posted: | | | | Hi. In Denmark DVD-distributors are unfriendly persons. I have 13 movies all called 5709624015982, and 2 movies called 5709624014152. They're all from the same company, On Air Video. Thing is, I can't import these movies into DVD profiler, as they are already recognized under different titles. How would I go about this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Posted: | | | | It is easy - all you need to do is put the DVD into your computer and add it by the disc id.
Go to "Add DVDs to Owned" > "Add Inserted Disc".
Check that your computer is set to do this: "Tools" > "Options" > "System" > "DVD-ROM" > "Drive - E()". If "DVD-ROM" is set to "None" change it to "Drive-E".
Good luck! |

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
Or you can try to find a EAN number that is not in use. Type in this number and create a new DVD with the Correct titel. When is has been opend in your program change the EAN number for this movie and add the information to the movie. When all is done, you can upload the information.

| Posted: | | | | You replied to a very old post (back to November). Kathy's suggestion is the best solution to use though. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

Best regards Michael, Slagelse It is not allowed to use fake EANs for contributions. If you go this way (making up EANs), you have to keep them local. | | | Last edited: by SpaceFreakMicha |

Best regards Michael, Slagelse Michael: "When contributing a title by UPC, make sure the UPC is entered in this format. Do not contribute titles with "made up" or otherwise inaccurate UPCs. If a title does not have a UPC, then add the title by Disc ID, using your DVD-ROM drive." You seem to be fairly new, but your proposal is against the Rules, no ifs ands or buts about it. Best regards Michael, Slagelse If this means you want to overwrite an existing profile with the same EAN, that is generally also against the rules. | | | Hans |
