| Posted: | | | | I saw your plugin on my friends Vista machine and it was awesome . DVD Profiler with this plugin is what I need especially with the special configurations. I cannot install the Plugin or any other in DVD Profiler although it shows up in Add & Remove programs, the folders and files are there under Programs folders on C: drive as well. I need this plugin badly or it would be extremely cumbersome to setup all my video. I forgot to mention that the plugin is not even listed under Tools->View Plugins. I am using WinXP SP2. |

| Posted: | | | | Invelos does not create nor provide support for individual plugins. The plugin authors do that. You need to post in the Plugins forum and let them know which plugin you are talking about. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | yeah, which plug-in? plug-ins aren't necessarily made by Invelos (think only 2 are).
some generic things to check is that you have sufficient permission when installing the plug-in. they register dll's and I know some have problems with this if it's not done with administrative rights.
the other thing is to maybe check the specific thread for that plug-in in the plug-ins forum

He is a new user, so obviously please cut him a bit of slack. I should have been more specific about where to post - which is in the Plugins Forum, LoadDVD thread. This also makes it obvious that he has not seen the thread in order to take advantage of the installation and use instructions - that was part of my purpose for attempting to direct him to the forum. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

I am using WinXP SP2. Thanks mediadogg for letting users know I am new! I figured that the problem maybe with the installation of DVD Profiler because LoadDVD and CSV export do not show up and they are made by different persons. I posted a message to Invelos support directly and they haven't got back to me as yet. Any help is appreciated by anyone. |

Any help is appreciated by anyone. if you are geting a problem with both plugins then it sounds like a permissions issue. Are you by any chance using windows 7? I found that the install for a plugin I use which worked perfectly under XP just got ignored under windows 7. If this is the problem then you need to open a command prompt as a admin user, navigate to where the dll is and needs to be registered and then run the register command within the command window (which is running as a adiministrator). This should then register the dll (it did for me). The command is regsvr32 abc.dll (I think - I'm at work so have no way of checking) where abc.dll is the name of the correct dll's. You will need to go to the plugin forums to get the correct names. | | | Paul |

His first post said XP SP2 so (unless SP3 is required) it's less likely to be permissions | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |
