My harddrive went on me, and had to get a new one installed on my computer.  I did not back-up my collection.  I did re-load dvd profiler to my new hard drive, however, it is blank.  Is there anyway I can retreive my collection & transfer it over to the new hard drive?  Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.

1) From the DVD Profiler main menu select

Online | DVD Profiler Online

then enter your DVDp username and password, click Next and select Download.

This will restore your DVD catalog (11,000+  ) minus things like personalized cover scans, credit photos, etc. which were never uploaded.

2) Remove you email address from your first post (unless you like spam)

3) Invest in a memory stick or external hard drive and back up regularly.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

You can retrieve the online collection, although you last updated it back in 2007 so you may have a fair amount missing.

Go to Online ---> DVD Profiler Online ----> Log in ---> Download.

This will only download info that's stored online so any self scanned images, gallery items, head shots, etc... will have been lost.
