| Posted: | | | | I have my DVD collection archived using Any DVD/Shrink to actual DVD+R discs sans previews & pre play notices. Some of these archive DVD's span two discs and I use DVD Profiler to catalog my collection.
How difficult would it be to copy these archived DVD's to a PC hard drive (especialy those that are split) and is Metadata available once the DVD's are copied to a hard drive. Also, would DVD Profiler link correctly once the DVD's are on a hard drive after the Shrink process, I have the archived titles on the PC with Profiler now?
What program would be the most efficient to use in copying the archive DVD's to a PC hard drive?
Thank you. | | | Last edited: by itsme4 |

Thank you. Sounds like a hypothetical question, because (1) if you were actually doing that, you would already know the answer, and (2) You would probably have more than 50 DVDs and be registered. Just sayin' ... am I off base? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

| Posted: | | | | Not hypothetical. i bought and am using DVD Profiler to catalog my DVD collection. I don't have my collection backed up here. I don't have any DVD's ripped to my PC yet.
My questions stand.

Just a thought. |

It's ok with me if you consider my questions hypothetical, my questions are still valid. Can you be helpful?

I don't think you will get much detailed discussion of this issue here, as the topic flirts with Forum Rules. Suggest you try AVSFORUM for all the info you desire. | | | Thanks for your support.
