| Posted: | | | | Hello!!!
I'm new using the program, but I had found a problem when introducing movies bought with newspapers. It seems that the whole serie is labeled with the same barcode, with another smaller with the number of the movie within the serie. the problem is that when you are going to introduce a new one from that serie, only the first one uploaded appears.
This happens with this barcodes: 8420565203586 Cine de acción. El periódico de Cataluña. 16 Movies. 8420565178006 Generic barcode. More than 200 titles. ("La muerte os sienta tan bien" is number 132, "Twister" the 128). 8420565200400 El cine de los Grandes. 26 movies. Assigned to "El ladrón de cadáveres". 8420565204606 Colección de terror. El periódico de Cataluña. Still no entry but some with the same barcode. 8423793331250 Same than the previous case.
Can be midified somehow? How can we add the other movies of the series?
Thank you in advance. |

| Posted: | | | | I am assuming that even though they have the same barcodes, they have different disc IDs. If so, you can add them to your collection with disc ID and contribute based on disc ID, leaving the UPC/EAN area blank. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | to expand some on what garibolt said. each profile is identified by a upc/ean or disc id and then locality. so for any locality only one profile can have that upc/ean or disc id in the case with the newpaper discs you mention, the first released disc with the duplicate upc will get the profile (first in rules, similar to how it works for re-release info). You can use the disc Id as gardibolt suggested to add the other titles. you may want to take a look at the contribution rules if you wish to contribute any titles you add. Of course you can vary the data from these rules in your local databse if you wish but anything you contribute will need to follow these rules. Additionaly, in order to contribute you do need to have a paid license. hope this helps, and feel free to ask any questions in the forums. As a suggestion, the search feature isn't the best so your best option is to use a google search and add site:invelos.com to your search term to search this site. -Agrare |

| Posted: | | | | And just to add on to Agrare's note, the database is member built and as you may be the only one that has them at this point, you would have to add them to the database yourself. But, only paid members can contribute dvds to the online database. And, as an unpaid member, the features of the trial only work until 50 dvds are entered.
It is worth the one time fee! All future programs are included...no upgrade fees, at all. | | | Lori |
