Hello

I have looked but cannot find out if there is a way when adding a new DVD to start from a certain number,

I have all my DVDs in 0 to 280, and my Blue rays from 300, but when I add a new blue ray (I no longer buy DVDs) I would like it to be numbered 300+ rather than 281 ...

I have been unable to see if this is possible

thanks for any help

By default the next available number (if you deleted 7 then added a disc it would take 7, not 281) is used next.

Since you don't by DVDs consider renumbering them starting at some high number, then renumbering the BDs starting at 0.  Sounds like you'd make less corrections.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Since DVDProfiler only can adress the next available coll.# automatically (which then can be changed manually), you might want to take a workaround into consideration:
Two databases, one for your DVDs and one for your BluRays.
There are two problems though. 1st You can only open one database at a time, and 2nd your online collection only contains the data of one of these databases.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
