Saw it sporadically earlier today but not presently.

In the past I've gotten it occasionally, and temporarily, if the page refresh is slow, but once the refresh was complete i had icons.

(As i write this i'm seeing the text DVD Profiler Unlimited Registrant above your avatar instead of the Eye-icon.)

I blame global warming.    (But then i blame it for everything.)

I'm seeing them frequently all over the place now.

Firefox 3.0.12 and 3.5.?

I see that too whenever I reply to a topic or edit a post.  Most recent entry says that. ETA: Now I saw it outside of a new/edit post window

I've not seen any problems last night after i got home and started using 3.5, still OK this morning.  I'll check again when i get to work.

Now i'm at work (FF 3.012) and am seeing some of the same issue.

The first message under Recent posts in this topic has the text DVD Profiler Unlimited Registrant where the Eye-icon should be.

I flushed the cache and restarted FF but it changed nothing.  Curious.

I get the missing icons randomly every now and then.  Also at different times I will get very slow response with FireFox both.  This happens at both home and at work.

Here's a new twist.  The emoticons aren't displaying the image for Neutral or Anxious, just the text.  But if I hover my mouse over the text, the image shows up.  Viewing the generated HTML source, everything looks fine and matches how the other emoticons are generated.

<a onclick="InsEmote(document.getElementById('ctl00_cphMain_txtaMessage'), ' ');" href="#a">
<img height="18" alt="Anxious" src="/images/emoticons/anxious.gif" width="18" border="0"></a>

And the missing PUD image HTML
<IMG WIDTH="24" HEIGHT="30" ALIGN="ABSMIDDLE" TITLE="DVD Profiler Unlimited Registrant" ALT="DVD Profiler Unlimited Registrant" SRC="/images/PUD.PNG">

I wonder if anybody with IE or non-Mozilla browsers is having issues?  I suspect this is really the browser.

I was having issues as well. 3.0.12 and 3.5. And yes, the "Anxious" emoticon isn't visible (this occurred with both versions of Firefox). Funny, the neutral one is fine, but when I pushed the reply button (before I decided to edit this post), the neutral emoticon didn't show either.

No issues with IE when I tried it.

With another site if I have the "www." at the start of the address it causes the layout to totally screw up but without it it loads properly. I traced this back to an addon (can't remember which but may have been NoScript). Have you tried disabling addons to see if any of them are causing a problem?

Good idea to try disabling the add-on's.  I disabled my add-on's one by one without effect until I got to the first one on my list (and the last one to try) - Adblock Plus.  With it disabled, I didn't see any quirks.

Removing the www from the URL had no effect.  The ad-block window which displays which items are blocked showed no red entries.  Telling it to disable itself on invelos.com seems to have resolved it.

This seems to be an issue with Adblock Plus 1.1 after visiting their forums.  I made an inquiry concerning it.

The image bug with Adblock Plus seems to be resolved with the latest dev build.
