When adding a box set and the contents with it, it should automatically fill in all contents with the same purchase date and location and a price of 0, or at least give us the option. That way, we don't have to sit around clicking "yes" 61 times if we buy the X-Files set. Also, we should be able to hit enter for okay when personalizing and there should be a "yes to all" when scanning multiple entries for child profiles.

I agree. And may I add that the currency for the price paid should "follow" the parent profile's currency.

I like it, too, if that would be indeed an option and not an automatic feature. Many people here seem to use "virtual" boxsets where parts of collection belong to some specific "boxset" for organisation purposes.

That, and there might be cases where parts of the boxset are bought independently - if boxset is such that the contents are available separately as well, and you needed to replace some of the content with a later purchase.

This part is already done.  The only thing you have to do is click the 'OK' button.  There is one extra step if you don't assign collection numbers, but that's it.

Yes and no. If some contents are already in your wishlist, it can pull up a purchase place and date seemingly arbitrarily.

Also, If I have Tru Calling Season 1 in my wishlist and add Tru Calling: The Complete Series to my ordered list, right now, it will only add season 2 discs to the box set and i have to go move everything else manually.

Here's another thing I noticed. I can't seem to triple-click and select an entire field, which can be a pain when dealing with sort titles.

I don't use the wishlist function so that would explain why I don't see this behavior.  Once again, you learn something new every day.

A few more:
The program has an annoying tendency to jump to the top of your list when you finish editing, htough it doesn't always do this.
If a title is too long, it should break to a second line. If I want to be able to see the full titles of TV discs, I have to set the field absurdly wide.

Yep, those are annoying.
So I would definitely support putting them on the "to be fixed" list.

You mean that the Title list jump to the top after editing a profile? I've seen that sometimes, but even more annoying is to edit long TV-Series Crew lists. You change episode 20 John Doe (OCB) to John Doe (Created by)....and you're back on episode 1 again. One get really tired with that one quite soon...

Paraphrasing Ace_of_Sevens:

I'd like this to be optional.

+1.  To add to this request, I'd like to be able to remove profiles from my collection (wishlist) from within the Add DVD dialog (or at least flag them).  If I add a film to my wishlist then end up buying another version it can be annoying having to manually delete them from the wishlist.

+1 on all counts, +2 on the one bolded by me

Edit: Another one related to the bold one, when changing sort order the program jumps to the top of the list AND closes any boxsets what were open.

Until that request gets added to the program, here's a good work-around.

- Select the first disc with the information you wish to duplicate.
- Go to the DVD menu and choose Copy.
- Flag all the other profiles you wish to copy the information to.
- Go to the Collection menu and choose Paste... under the Flagged submenu.
- Check Purchase Place, Purchase Price & Purchase Date (as well as any other fields you're interested in).
- Click Ok.

It might not be worth the hassle for small box sets.  But if you did purchase something like the X-Files set and wanted to copy the same information to 61 profiles, this would be the way to go.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.

Here's another one I found last night: When there are a lot of subtitles (for instance, BD for The Replacement Killers, which has 25), the program just won't show them all. It shoudl make this field scrollable or star a second column.
