| Posted: | | | | Strange thing occurred a moment ago:
I decided to download the list of updated profiles (button "Refresh Updated Profiles" on toolbar), and got a new list of maybe 30 or so profiles. But when clicking the button "Preview Changes" for whatever entry in that "Refresh Updated DVD Profiles" window, I won't get the regular window where the differences can be compared with your profile on left part of the window and the updated profile on the right side of the window. Instead I get Contribution notes on both sides of the window(!). Has anyone else noticed this or am I going nuts?
I have never seen this before.
Edit: This is still happening as above... could someone else also test it and confirm, thanks? | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) | | | Last edited: by Draxen |

| Posted: | | | | Tried to reproduce this. Cannot confirm.
Try if this still occurs after cleaning your browser cache (temporary internet files etc.). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the tip. I tried that, but alas, to no avail. Here's my issue again with screen caps: 1) I click on the "Refresh Updated Profiles"-button on toolbar (the one with green arrow pointing downwards): 2) I get this window with the list of updated profiles: 3) I click on "Clash by Night" and then the button "Preview changes" and the following screen appears(!!) Now this is strange to put it mildly... | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) | | | Last edited: by Draxen |

I had never noticed that little drop-down-menu, so couldn't even imagine this solution to this "problem"... I have no idea how that selection had changed to "contribution notes" from default. Anyway, everything works as it should, obviously, after changing that selection. | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) |

I had never noticed that little drop-down-menu, so couldn't even imagine this solution to this "problem"... I have no idea how that selection had changed to "contribution notes" from default. Anyway, everything works as it should, obviously, after changing that selection. Now, the question remains where did you get that "Contribution Notes" option there. I only have two options: default preview and "goodguy PCP Preview" which I intentionally have installed. Have you created a yourself a HTML window for contribution notes with "Suitable for previews" option ticked? |

Have you created a yourself a HTML window for contribution notes with "Suitable for previews" option ticked? Hmmm... I need to look into this. I do use a layout, which has HTML-window for contribution notes. I can't read javascript so it is made by somebody else, can't remember when I have switched to it and who made it, but there is the following section in the script: Quote: function cont() { if (DP_UPC) { var UPC = DP_UPC; } else { var UPC = DP_DISCS; } var matchUPC = DP_UPC.match(/cont:/i); if (matchUPC) { var contLink = "http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=contributionnotes&type=DVD&ProfileUPC=" + matchUPC; } else { var contLink = "http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=contributionnotes&type=DVD&ProfileUPC=" + UPC; } window.location.href= contLink; | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. There indeed is that tick for that layout, so that settles it - case closed Thanks! | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) |
