| Posted: | | | | I would like the program to look at the title field rather than the sort title field when jumping to titles after keyboard keys are pressed. For example:
If I have the following profiles:
Planet of The Apes Beneath The Planet of The Apes Escape From The Planet of The Apes Conquest of The Planet of The Apes Battle For The Planet of The Apes
With the following sort titles:
1Planet of The Apes 2Beneath The Planet of The Apes 3Escape From The Planet of The Apes 4Conquest of The Planet of The Apes 5Battle For The Planet of The Apes
I want the program to take me to Planet of The Apes when I press P, instead I have to hit 1.
Or is there a workaround for this? |

| Posted: | | | | I don't know if it is a 'workaround', but I would reccomend reformatting your sort titles. In my collection, to prevent what is happening to you, the number comes after the title. Using your example, my sort titles would be:
Planet of the Apes 1 Planet of the Apes 2 Planet of the Apes 3 Planet of the Apes 4 Planet of the Apes 5 | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | After thinking about it I no longer support this request ( - ). I don't think I'll bother with changing the sort titles of things like this. Afterall, if the feature I posted about here is implemented then they would become redundant as one would be able to sort boxset contents by production year to get the same effect. That is, of course if the program is changed so that it doesn't jump to the top of the list when a new sort order is applied. Coincidentally, does anyone know if that's been reported as a bug? |
