A few weeks ago I went to add some new Bluray titles to my profile.  I went to "Add DVD To Collection" button and put in the UPC and it came up "unknown".  I knew the title should be there so I searched by title.  Again, it was not there.  So I added it by UPC put in the title and it downloaded.  I then clicked on the "Refresh" button and the title promptly filled with all the information.  I thought it was weird and assumed it just the db not being available or some quirk.  This continued for a couple weeks.  I checked my version of Profiler which was "current" 3.5.1 and then I did a database repair, and it still did not solve the problem.  So everytime I add a DVD or Bluray the UPC or name is always unknown but once downloaded can be refreshed.

When I go to "Add by title" I make sure that it gives me all "blu, dvd, hd" all regions, etc.  There are only 6969 titles.  I have also checked to make sure that adult filter is not on and have used the "refresh online list" and still only get 6969 titles.

Any ideas?

Close DVDP.
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\DVD Profiler
Delete (or rename) "OnlineList.dod"
Re-open  DVDP.
Try to add a DVD.

Or, select Online->Refresh Online Profile List while holding CTRL.

THANKS!  I did the search first (entire C Drive) but could not find the OnlinList.dod (maybe that was the problem).  I then did the Refresh with CTRL and that was the ticket.  I now have 432,392 titles to choose from.  That is weird.  I have never had this happen before.

You should buy an 'E' for $250.

Just kidding, the "Application Data" is a hidden folder and won't be searched by the Windows Search by default.
