To save space, I've put all my DVD's in a DJ box (in numbered sleeves). Each DVD in my DVD Profiler collection has a collection number which corresponds with the sleeves. Some of my titles consist of 2 or more dvd's, which means I have gaps in my collection numbers sometimes (because each DVD takes up one numbered sleeve).
My problem is: when I add a new title, DVD Profiler automatically fills in the first available free collection number. Which is a bit annoying, because I have to find out where it has gone and manually fix it.
Is it possible to let DVD Profiler ignore everything below the max value of the collection number? | | | Last edited: by Pedullist |

The "Prompt for personalization" box is located at the bottom of the "Add DVDs to Owned" window that pops up when you click the Add DVD button in the menu or when you click DVD->Add to Collection...
While not perfect, at least it'll make it easier than finding the disc in the list and then re-numbering it.

| Posted: | | | | One possibility is to switch from using Collection# to Slot to correlate to the sleeve number. There is a Slot available for each disc in a profile. If you decide to do this, BulkEdit might help you make the mass updates required to fill in the Slot values. There is a function allows you to copy the Collection Number column to the Slot column. Then you can fill in the blank Slot values, Save , and then go from there. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
