| Posted: | | | | I am currently using movie collector software but looking at changing to profiler.I currently keep my DVDS in numbered sleeves in boxes that hold 250 movies each.At the moment I have filled seven boxes. So in my database the entry for a movie will be for example BOX 3 DISC 247 can profiler handle this? Also in collector you may nominate exactly what the next disc number entry will be.What I am asking is can profiler give me a database that shows my whole movie collection and exactly where my discs are located in one page view?Any help with this scenario will be great. |

| Posted: | | | | If you decide to come over to DVD Profiler: our valued fellow user mediadogg has developed a plugin called BulkEdit which can also be used to import Collectorz data. Specific instructions for importing a Collectorz XML file are somewhere down in this thread. Could save you a lot of time! | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

But you can show the "Disc Location"-Column and sort by it. In the standard layout (and there are many more to choose from) it would look like this: sorted alphanumerical sorted by location As Dr. Killpatient said: download it and give it a spin, up to 50 profiles almost everything works for free. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Is it possible then to include the location details in a report? |
