| Posted: | | | | Situation: I have DVDp on my main PC at home and replicate the data from time to time on my laptop, so I can review my collection "on the road". I do this by making a full back-up, then restore from that back-up on the laptop (images: replace). When I restore, DVDp warns that it is a full restore and all previous data will be erased. That's exactly what I want!
On my main collection, whenever I double dip: buy a BluRay or a Special Edition, I move the original entry to the wish list. (I really love to have the 3 categories to have a customisable title...). Also, I give away titles to family that have been replaced by a double-dip purchase. These titles are then removed from my collection. After such changes, I renumber the owned collection by purchase date.
Now on my laptop (not the main PC) I find ghost references in the watched overview (Edit Users... => History). It shows a date, but the title field is empty. Also, recently, I suddenly found a title where the 'watched by' record seemed to have been lost.
From the outside, it looks like when DVDp correctly establishes that it has to do a full restore, it doesn't erase the 'watched by' records of the old dataset properly.
Could you take a look into the matter? | | | Eric
