| Posted: | | | | I am having some problems with the above UPC.
If I try to add DVD by UPC it does not exist. If I try to add DVD by Title it does not exist with that UPC even when filtering for everything.
If I add UPC 0-678149-091397 (for which this is a new cheap rerelease sharing the same disc id) and then try to change the UPC to make a new contribution it tells me that 'Galaxy Quest' UPC 7332504000792 already exists.
Ehhh?

| Posted: | | | | I'm not able to duplicate this. You're right, that UPC does not appear in the database. I can download the profile with UPC 0-678149-091397 with no problems and when I change the UPC to 7332504000792 all it does is ask me to confirm, as it always does.
What I would suggest is make sure all your info is correct (especially if you've used the old profile as a template) and go ahead and submit it. If that profile does exist already, you'll see a comparison screen where you can pick and choose which parts to submit. If it doesn't exist all you'll see is an area to type in your contribution notes.
If you do get the comparison screen, cancel and come back and let us know, we'll try and see what else we can do. |

| Posted: | | | | If it's telling you that the UPC already exists then it sounds like it's already somewhere in your database. Perhaps you already set up a profile but didn't submit it? That would explain why it's not in the database. |

| Posted: | | | | Don't forget to look in your Wish List. And sometimes phantom entries exist in the Add New DVD window. | | | Hans |

Just to add that unlike when adding a DVD, you need to remove the dashes from the number or it wont show up. At least that's my experience. |
