Adding DVDs to collection - garbage characters and blank fields in list

I'm not sure when this started happening but when I try to add DVDs to my collection, many of the rows have blanks in the titles, UPC fields or garbage characters. What could be causing this? I am running the latest version of DVD profiler. I think it started happening during the last beta releases.

Possibly your "Regional and Language Options" setting for non Unicode applications got messed up.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

What happens if you change the layout to default and /or the language settings?

Also you can try the database repair tool. You can find it in the startmenu.
