I'm looking for alot of the old Tex Avery/Fred Quimbly stuff from the late fourties/Early fifties...

Specifically, the House of the Future and Car of the Future and the other 'of the Future" ones...

Anyone know where I can get them...

Preferably on DVD, but I will take them on VHS and put on DVD if I have too...

I've found a few of his collections, but none that have any of the ones I'm looking for...

These were published on Region 2 DVD at least in France. I have this box 3-322069-872723. It is still available from Amazon.fr (search in DVD on "Tex Avery") for 50 euro. I didn't check other regions, localities or webshops for better offers, but you might try. There's a bunch on amazon.com too on the same search words, but I didn't check details.

Of course, if you're living in North America, your player needs to be region-free.

Those cartoons were released on VHS and Laserdisc by MGM under "Tex Avery's Screwball Classics" in the US. Most are out of print, but there are some sellers on amazon that have them for sale

House of Tomorrow is also present as a bonus feature on Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (on DVD from Warner).
