| Posted: | | | | Hi all, i was wondering if we could all work together to create an "index" of sorts of the appropriate sources that are acceptable for info. Obviously anything that can be taken off the cover and disc is a no-brainer. But what about other things like release date for example? What do you all think? Is anyone willing to help out and put a list together based on tabs and fields available? It may help everyone and even provide some more options for updates |

| Posted: | | | | I understand where you're coming from, but for some fields you'd have to organise this by locality (e.g. fields like release dates and SRP). A good place to get release dates for the NL locality is www.dvd-home.nl (click on Database / an entry below "Alle DVD titels"). There's no standard solution to get SRP's in the NL locality.
BTW: you're saying the cover is a no-brainer. I disagree, as I have encountered countless examples of wrong cover listings of e.g. video format, audio tracks, running time, subtitles, region coding and cast and crew credits. I always verify the first four using PowerDVD, check the region coding using something like Nero Info Tool and take credits from the film itself only. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
