Saving my own movies |

But now I wants to save my own movies in this program! I saved many movies on dvds from television and now I want to save it in Profiler. How I have to do this?

| | Posted: | | | | Dear Semmlerin, DJ Doena's method will always work, but will require you to enter all data manually. If, however, the movie you're trying to save already has a profile in the Invelos database, "cloning" that profile to match your recording might save you a considerable amount of time. Here's how to do this: - Choose "Add DVD". - Choose the "Add by Title" tab. - Set Region, Locality and Release to "Any" - Then type in the title you're looking for (it might be worthwile to try the original (English?) title as well, in case it differs from the German title). - Using Preview, try to find the most complete profile that matches your recording. Download the profile in question. Next, this guide will tell you how to adapt this profile to your needs. Of course: don't contribute any of the changes you've made! Good luck! BTW I find the adamant statements in here about what people can or can't do quite amusing, as it's not up to any user to decide on what other people do with DVDP locally. What's more: if I interpret the username correctly, the OP is a she, not a he, and this is not about "home videos" but about TV recordings. |
