Hi all,

I have been a registered user for some years without any problem, but yesterday I had an automatic Windows upgrade+reset while DVD Profiler 3.5.1 was open and the last DVDs I had entered had got somewhat frozen.

I cannot see them although their collection numbers are used (#830 & #831), I cannot add them again since an "Error appeared on file processing " (sorry for the bad translation of the spanish error message) appear and remain "pending".

I have entered those titles from other countries and the problem seems only that my collection is 2 units bigger than reality, but I am afraid that there is something wrong with my database and that some crash could appear in future.

I can re-enter the last titles bought during last couples of months since my last backup, but I would prefer a solution with my current database.

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards

Have you tried running a database repair?  I believe it's located under tools...options...utilities.  I had a problem like this once and that cleaned it up.

Hi again,

Finally, I have solved the situation by erasing the default database that seemed to be totally corrupted, creating a new one, restore an old backup and re-entering the last titles bought.

I have had a few panic moments
