| | Posted: | | | | We have another issue with the CLT. Curtis Jackson, aka Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, aka 50 Cent has only been in three film’s so far. Credited as Curtis Jackson in Home of the Brave and Righteous Kill. He is credited as Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in Get Rich or Die Tryin’. There is no movie film that has him credited as 50 Cent as a cast member but he is credit as 50 Cent in the Crew section. So my question is what should his common name be?

This seems like a case where he wanted to start being an actor and used his real name.
Going by the CLT it looks like 'Curtis Jackson' would be his common name. However, you mentioned that there is another Curtis Jackson. If that other one is an actor as well, then BY's will be needed for at least one of them to separate them.
Also wonder if the other Curtis Jackson maybe skewing the results towards that name instead of just '50 Cent'. If that's the case then '50 Cent' may actually be his more commonly used name.
But should that be used for his acting credits being that you have shown that '50 Cent' is used only for the crew credits?
If I had to do this I would say 'Curtis Jackson' is his common name, and if the other one is also an actor then a BY is needed. |

The Simpsons Season 16, ep. 9: 50 Cent | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
