| Posted: | | | | According to the rules, we drop the initial "FOR" from the rating details (e,g, "For Violence" becomes just "Violence").
What do we do if there is more than one "FOR" in the details, e.g., "For Violence, Language and for Scenes of Drug Use." Should we enter "For Violence, Language and for Scenes of Drug Use" or just "For Violence, Language and Scenes of Drug Use" ? | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. This is how I would prefer it be done, as the second 'for' makes no sense once you have removed the first one. Unfortunately, the rules don't allow for that. That's my preference, too, but I was afraid the rules didn't allow for it. That's why I posted the question. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. | Posted: | | | | Actually, you can submit it with the leading "For" if you like. Ken's filter will strip it off before it gets to the main database. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Quote: Enter rating details as shown, excluding the rating itself and trailing period. e.g. "Rated R for sci-fi violence and brief language." is entered as "Sci-fi Violence and Brief Language". Obtain the rating details in order of preference from:
* DVD case, usually on the bottom rear * Rating page displayed on-screen * Filmratings.com, or the equivalent region-specific ratings information website
For English profiles, capitalize all words except joining words such as "of", "the", "a", "in", etc. For non-English profiles, use capitalization rules common to the language of the profile, as commonly used for titles. In all cases, the first word will be automatically capitalized in your submission. I would use the part I emphasized above from the contribution rules. For in this case is a joining word, whether it makes sense of not. | | | Last edited: by Fingerlakes Dave |
