| Posted: | | | | I have added some images to the actor's profiles on my desktop. How do I get this information to my laptop? Normally everything transfers by uploading to online and then downloading onto the other computer, but I am guessing since I copied and pasted the images into the various actor profiles that the pics are on my local computer.
How do I get this information on my laptop computer (i.e. syncing the information between multiple computers)?
Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | Via online is not the appropriate way.
I sync between my two PC with the help of an USB stick and a syncing software like Beyond Compare. I don't do a backup via the program but simply copy the database files from and to the stick While the program is not running!) | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | If you want to sync the headshots between two computers, you need to make sure you only make changes on one or the other, never both, between syncs.
Perform a custom database backup and only backup the cast/crew section and custom photos. Then restore it on the 2nd computer.
Alternately, perform a full backup and restore if you have other changes. |
