| Posted: | | | | Why is it that every time that I start DVD Profiler, the Vista User Account Control dialog box comes up? Also, the desktop icon for DVD Profiler shows a shield in the lower right corner of the icon. This is the only program that I have installed on my PC that does this. It is annoying and I would like to get rid of this. Does anyone have a solution? TIA |

| Posted: | | | | Where is your database saved? Its not in the Program Files directory, correct? Just making sure since programs cannot write to Program Files directory unless they are administrator.

| Posted: | | | | The database is saved in a DVD Profiler folder within my Documents folder; it was set up that way by default when I installed the program. I am the only user on my computer. And this is the only program where this happens. |

| Posted: | | | | Right click on the program icon, click properties, click on the compatibility tab and make sure "Run this program as an administrator" is not checked. This box had to be checked on version 2.5 of DVDP, but as long as your database is stored in the documents folder, there should be no need for this box to be checked. | | | Last edited: by Boykin |
