Hi,

are actors doubles allowed to be entered into the Cast section if they are directly mentioned in the movie's cast credits?

I'm looking at an existing "Stargate" profile and "John Casino" ist listed as "Mr. Russell's Double", "Dennis Fitzgerald" and "Greg Smrz" as "Mr. Spader's Doubles" just like in the movie credits...

And a 2nd "Stargate" Question... "Patrick Tatopoulos" got an Intro credit "Special Creature Effects created by" and in the end-credits as "Creature Department - Creature Effects Supervisor"... Does he get entered into the Profiler in any way? Visual Effects maybe?

Are they in the standard cast of characters?  If yes, then are they at the end of the list?

If yes they are at the end of the list i'd leave them off (as is done with stunt people).

If they are embedded in the cast list (that is followed by other actors) you definitely include them.

There may be other opinions on this.

The actors doubles are the last 3 entries in the standard cast list as defined by contribution rules.

As you describe them I would see them as part of Cast data, it seems to me anything else would judging and interpretation of data, which I always oppose.

If an actor is credited 42 different times for 42 different roles in the cast credits, there should be 42 different entries in DVDP.

Alternately, if an actor is credited once for 42 different roles but there isn't enough room in DVDP to credit them all, multiple credits are allowed to provide for all the different roles.

You are correct but the question was about whether to credit Actor's Doubles not double acting credits.
