| Posted: | | | | The most obscure or oddball stuff will occasionally show up at the shop I work at. I pick up just about any documentaries that come through. I don't mind having to enter the entire profile for these - there are several I have had to do; I figure I'm the only person with Profiler who may ever own these. I can usually find release dates for just about anything through Amazon. But I'm stumped on what to do with this one.
I just picked up Kentucky's Last Great Places: A Kentucky Life Special. It's a KET (Kentucky Educational Television) program special. The original owner had to have ordered it through KET, since it seems to be available new only through KET Duplication Services. Their website reads "New programs will be made available after their initial broadcast on KET."
The way that reads to me, it seems like they may produce them on demand.
Anyway, the point of that whole long ramble is what in the heck do I enter for a release date? The date of the first airing of the program on KET? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | There are some DVDs, cass that it is nigh on impossible to determine the release date. The first place I would look is KET, if that fails, then look at the copyright date on the disc and <whispers> pick a date. Obviously if the Copyright says 2005, a 2003 release date is highly unlikely. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here
