| Posted: | | | | I've recently done a full update of "Lars von Triers Riget", and have gotten a NO-vote stating that some credits are missing/wrong. Before I change anything and resubmit, I'd like to get some input as to what should get included from some other Danish users as well; Is "Drejebog" the same as "Screenwriter" or is it "Writer"? Is "Fotograf" the same as "Cinematographer" or "Director of Photography"? Does "Manuskript" get a "Screenwriter" or "Writer" credit? Any input greatly appreciated, as I used quite a bit of time on this update, and would like to get it right... | | | Berak

The writer of a "Drejebog" is someone who adapts a manuskript into scenes (including acting orders for the actors), so he should get a "screenwriter" credit. "Manuskript" can be a little more complicated and can be "Writer" or "OMB" depending on the situation (written directly for the movie or not). But I don't think that "Manuskript" would get a "screenwriter" credit. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Fotograf is very often the DoP but I would accept either credit as we don't have exactly the same job titles in Scandinavia, therefore it's difficult to say which one is more correct. Perhaps cinematographer is more "neutral" though, if you are in doubt... | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Allright - I can agree that I might have left out some warranted credits (drejebog), but my update is still 100% within the rules, and the NO-vote as such is in violation of the rules! And, since ruben now has "stolen" my contribution and only added a few credits and common names, I will not withdraw my submission - I'd rather let the very valid information I have added stand and get approved than withdrawing and let him take all the credit! It might seem petty, but I used over two days on this update, and I think it's beyond petty for him to vote NO on a perfectly valid update with some bogus reason, and then a few hours after submit his own update with all my data (plus some more) and claim the whole update is his! I seldom get angry, but this is beyond belief! | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | Oh my, why are people taking these votes and submissions personal.
The goal here is to improve the database, it's not a place for people to get personal credit. If his submission contains better data than your submission then that is all that matters when it comes to which profile to approve. | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | This is my contribution and yours contribution then can people look at my and yours contribution and see thats its not stolen from yours contribution http://www.invelos.com/Database.aspx?task=evaluate&id=773084 (My Contribution)
And this is Beraks contribution http://www.invelos.com/Database.aspx?task=evaluate&id=772508&fromtask=pending&fromletter=R
then cant people look and see thats its not stolen from you. My contribution for cast and crew is not the same only in the order from the movie like contribution rules. You removed people in contribution who are valid Like Tomas Gíslason who is Screenwriter and make Eric Kress: Cinematographer to DOP thats is wrong You say it take you 2 days to make it do you think it to my 2 hours to make it with all this other actor names and Credit as name divider with Riget I And Riget II |
