Playing around with custom views - it is just a hair from being the custom tab that has been requested. For example, you can create a skin that will only display Blu-Ray discs, but when the MediaTpye condtion is not met, you get white space.

So, I propose something like:

- a checkbox option to hide blank custom view entries, or
- a separate condition field to suppress display of the entire entry, or
- link custom view to a saved filter, applied on top of or instead of the main collection filter

One of the above features would convert the custom view to a custom tab. Then of course, we'll ask for more of them ...
