| Posted: | | | | it seems that the location and slot doesnt save when i write it down the first time when i open the profile again and i fill in the location and slot it's saved please fix that in the next release, it's time consuming to open the profile every time twice and is it possible that when we close the profile when inserting a new dvd/hddvd/blu-ray, we go to the last inserted disc instead to the highest number? |

| Posted: | | | | You can only successfully fill in location and slot if at least one Disc has been defined. Doesn't need to have a Disc ID or name though. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | if there is one disc all ready then the location and slot are not saved if there is no disc and i add one, the location and slot are saved so there must be something wrong, or i do something wrong if i add it afterwards it will be saved |

Can you do a Database repair (tools / options) just in case? | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I guess everyone else isn't doing it ok. I'm having a similar problem.
I enter the location and slot info on the Personalize Page when I add the DVD. The location and slot info is still there if I select the title under Pending Additions. When I select Add to Owned, the location and Slot info disappears.
Adding a disc doesn't fix the problem for me. I tried repairing the database and it didn't fix the problem. |

| Posted: | | | | I am having the same problem. What folks have not realized is that the 3 of us are trying to add the disk location and slot information at the time we seach and add a NEW disk to an existing database. The same goes if you add another disk (i.e. bonus materials). These changes will not be saved when you get around to adding the queue of new disks to your collection. After they have been added, you must go back and edit to the the info you originally wanted. Therefore, you end up doing it twice which is a code bug that should be fixed.
To the coders, good job from older versions where you didn't even get these options when you first tried to add a new disk to your collection. Now you just need to fix the bug... |

| Posted: | | | | It works up until you add to owned. Then both Location and Slot info vanish. |

| Posted: | | | | I remember having had this problem as well. I ended up simply add location and slot details after I'd added the profile rather than during. I'll do some tests to see if I can work out in which situations it happens and which it doesn't.
Edit: I'm using 3.5 build 1240 on my laptop and just tried it using the same profile as Giga. It definitely didn't work here. If I add location and slot info before adding the profile to my collection, it is not stored. Strangely, I tried adding a 2nd disc too and giving it personal info - and that was stored correctly. I'm going to try and find a profile with no discs and see how that is affected. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | I just tried it on the Beta 3.5.1.1249 and Location and Slot are saving correctly. Looks like this issue is on 3.5 build 1240. |
