| Posted: | | | | Try a database repair. In DVD Profiler go to Tools > Options > Utilities > Repair Database. |

| Posted: | | | | Checked with Alvin and the Chipmunks (UPC: 024543-503019): Downloads fine, so please do as Telecine recommended.
Please tell us if the error disappeared. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

And that's the real problem, I need to do this very regularly, since the problem reappears after a few days or weeks. It would be good to try and find out what causes this. Any ideas, anyone? | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | Problem is that the error only shows up (and not always or even often) when doing updates, but the errors crept into the database at some earlier stage, so looking at what you had active in the system becomes a problem.
I don't want to cast suspiciions, but could the Name Variants tool have something to do with this? | | | Hans |

Try to start the repair tool via Vista menu "Start -> Programs -> DVD Profiler -> Database Repair Utility". Please let us know if the error occurs here too. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Goblinsdoitall: Tried running from the start menu but got the same errors. Also ran ome HD diagnostics and found no problems.
Giga Wizard: I was just shortening the path with the C:\... and it is valid. I have administrator rights on the PC. I has been accessed from multiple profiles on the computer.
I also tried to upload my collection thinking that I could do that, erase the collection.dat file and restore frmo online but that failed also. Never gave me the sign in screen on DVDprofiler |
