Hi, Welcome to the forum... Personally I would have declined both if all you wrote is Disc on Hand. that tells us pretty much nothing. When you contribute to the online database you first need to be sure your contributions follows The Contribution Rules. Then you need to be sure your notes tells us what all you changed or added, how you determined this information and if needed sources to back up your information. most my notes will be something like... Quote: - Title added to match case per Rules - Overview exactly as on case... with bold and Italic used where need to match case - Cast list taken from end credits... in order of end credits (within episode dividers if needed) - Regions: 1,2,4 verified with Infotools - {whatever features added} verified on disc with PowerDVD ... and so on as needed. Some things also need further documentation such as Uncredited cast... obviously this isn't from the credits so you need to tell us how you found out these people appear in the movie. With sources that can be checked. whether it is hearing it on one of the extras or found on a website or what have you. Note that other 3rd party databases can't be a sole source... if you use something like this it is best to find at least 3 independent sources that agree. Also if you are using the credit as feature in the cast list... you must use the most commonly credited form of name for the name field Using the Credit Look-up Tool unless you can document this tool is wrong. And don't forget to document how you know these 2 names are for the same person... and not 2 similar names. The decline you got is normally for something to do with the cast list... whether you added undocumented uncredited cast or used the Credited as field without any type of documentation. |
