I'd have no objection to you adding it as a screenwriter credit, but I'm sure others would disagree. I've never noticed that credit, is it on Colour of Magic or Hogfather? |

Strictly according to the rules "Based on the novels ..." may not be contributed. But I would give him an original materials credit. Quote:

Again "Written for the screen by" is not listed in the rules, and therefore may not be contributed. The functional equivalent would be "Screenwiter" which I would advocate to be allowed. Quote:

| Posted: | | | | LOL, I would list it as OMB, I would also us the Actual Screen Credit (Other) for it and then explain it in your notes. The Actual Screen Credit, of course will only be visible to you, unless we look at your uploaded collection, we will otherwise see the OMB along with your explanation.

| Posted: | | | | Pratchett, AFAIK, worked in close conjunction with the production team in both cases, Hogfather as well as Colour of Magic/Light Fantastic [had a cameo in the latter, too]. The closest his 'mucked about' credit comes to in the real world would be editor - not as in cuting film/video but as in leading a magazine or helping a book author.
Personally I'd say this is a screenwriting credit. |

Personally I'd say this is a screenwriting credit. He also appeared in Hogfather. Toy Shop Owner. Steve |

Wouldn't that be the same as story editor? And we don't credit story editors. Personally, I'd leave that credit out of the profile. He is already credited with original material and didn't write the screenplay | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

As I said earlier, I wouldn't vote "no" on a screenwriting credit, though I probably wouldn't credit him myself if I was doing the profile. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

Neither for "screenwriter" nor for "story editor" which wouldn't be allowed anyway. |

Steve That's why I have two wishlists, an official for others, and an inofficial which is for internal (my) use only. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
