In the General Information Edit Profile there is a "Sort Title" box.
For all the titles I have with some kind of Christmas theme, I would type (Christmas: ) as the first word before the title in the Sort title box so that all the Christmas themed movies would be listed in alphabetical order in the DVD Profiler "Collection List" when the word Christmas was used in a Search and the Substring Search box was checked.
It doesn't do this anymore. Just the titles with the word Christmas in them now show up.
Yet, it still lists all the Christmas themed titles together In the "Print Reports" feature when the "Standard (show all records, sort by title)" option is selected.

| Posted: | | | | Never noticed that you could search on the sort title before, but the program does not search on it now, I can confirm that. You could use Tags to display only certain titles. A set of tags for genre or seasonal, or what ever you want can be filtered on and is a very efficient way of doing what I think you're trying to achieve. | | | Kevin |
